About Us:

Previously opened in October of 2022, Wonderland Dreams/https://www.wonderlanddreams.com/ is an immersive art exhibit, event space, and bar by artist Alexa Meade. Over the summer of 2022, our team spent countless hours transforming 26,000 sq. ft. in Midtown Manhattan into a 360 hand-painted wonderland. We are searching for Ticket Sales Ambassadors who will be passionate about taking immersive art, hospitality, and guest experience to the next level. About You:

Wonderland Dreams is looking for Ticket Sales Ambassadors to work alongside Brand Ambassadors and Supervisors. The role is public-facing, and the goal is to hand out flyers to promote an immersive art experience and contribute to ticket sales. The ambassador would primarily be explaining what the exhibit is about and what the flyer does/ how to use it to purchase a ticket.

This position requires working outside in most weather and at strategic locations to gain the most exposure. The ambassador may be working in a team or one at a time depending on the time of season.

The hours are during the exhibition operations and stop with enough time for the pedestrian to attend at that moment (1 ½ hours before closing).

The pay is hourly with a commission that is based on the number of times someone uses the promotion code to purchase tickets.

The ambassador must be enthusiastic and well-informed, able to grab the attention of the public surrounding them, and provide any information that may be asked.

The assignment may include standing at the front of our space and interacting with pedestrians passing by that may look interested, or using verbal interactions to get their attention. At this point the ambassador is utilizing the possibility to gain commission based on the amount of flyers you hand out, those flyers will result in the guest purchasing tickets using a promo code that is linked to the ambassador. If the position calls for moving to other locations with heavier traffic; Bryant Park, Time Square, Rockefeller Center, etc. the same responsibilities would apply. Keep track of which location has more attentive pedestrians to up your chances of commission.

Some qualities that’ll help a Ticket Sales Ambassador succeed are:

Enthusiasm and politeness

The ability to handle rejection or confrontation with the public in an effective and calm manner, in the event of a potentially difficult situation.

Bilingual is preferred but not required

The ability to remember information regarding the exhibit and the promotion

Confidence and assertiveness

Interest in advertising and marketing

Duties and responsibilities:

Attend any mandatory training and retraining periods

Maintain consistent availability, giving 2+ weeks notice if rearranging your permanent schedule is needed

Represent the Wonderland Dreams brand with integrity and enthusiasm

Greeting and welcoming guests with high energy and enthusiasm consistently throughout the day

Push sales of tickets achieving targets and goals when relevant

Providing excellent customer service through personalized guest assistance, including ushering and wayfinding when necessary

Achieve mastery and knowledge of the exhibit’s ins and outs.

Follow company procedures set forth in the employee guidelines

Hold fellow team members accountable for policies and procedures

Qualifications:

You are 18 years or older

Open availability, primarily on weekends

1+ years of previous customer service experience, in high-volume establishments

Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time, up to 8 hours

Proficient in public speaking (Actors, Camp counselors, and bubbly personalities – this is the perfect job for you!)

Excellent hospitality and customer service standards

A keen eye for creative details

Able to reliably get to and from Manhattan on late nights and weekends

Trustworthy, reliable, and a leader amongst peers

Strong interpersonal skills
